We’re 22 organizations strong — and growing! We welcome other community-based organizations who support a clean-energy future to join our network.
To support our vision and mission, we engage with Oregonians in three ways:
1: Electric Coaching
We offer one-on-one coaching for homeowners and renters to help them electrify their lives through a customized electrification plan.
2: Education & Outreach
We spread the word about electrification through community events, electrification fairs, panel discussions, and distribution of yard signs.
3: Advocacy
We support local and state policy change by supporting campaigns, engaging in public testimony, and educating leaders.

Our Leadership
We’re a grassroots, all-volunteer organization that’s doing the work to help neighbors and friends across the state make the switch to electric.
Linda Ganzini, Co-Executive Director
As co-executive director, Linda leads the Electrify Oregon coaching program. She retired in 2020 from the Portland VA and OHSU where she was a physician and health services researcher. She lives in Lake Oswego and greets an owl named Mary, who makes a home every season in Linda’s garage.
Elicia Putnam, Co-Executive Director
As Linda’s counterpart, Elicia heads up the marketing and branding of the organization. She also facilitates the strategy sessions and retreats. For her “day job,” Elicia leads Upli, a manager training company that’s seeking to bring much-needed skills to the workplace.
Dan Cartmell, Leadership Council
Dan is retired from a 40-year engineering career in the aerospace industry and has now devoted himself to advancing the clean energy transition through various volunteer activities. At home in Central Oregon, Dan enjoys nature photography along with hiking, skiing and many other outdoor recreational options available in the area. He also enjoys travel with his wife to tropical locations for SCUBA diving, as well as other international bucket list spots.
Kathy Conway, Leadership Council
Kathy is a co-facilitator of Southern Oregon Climate Action Now (SOCAN). In addition to being on the SOCAN board, she shares leadership of Electrify Rogue Valley with Dorothy Swain, leader of the Grants Pass Energy Action Team.
Brian Stewart, Leadership Council
Brian is the co-founder of Electrify Now and has devoted his recent efforts to educating the public about the economic, comfort, and health benefits of household electrification. He is a former VP of Sustainable Innovation at Nike, a board member of Oregon League of Conservation Voters and a retired industrial designer, working to promote electrification and renewable energy as a potent tool in the fight against climate change.
Eric Strid, Leadership Council
Eric is a data-driven leader at decarbonization NGOs in Oregon and Washington. His approach evolved through his experience as an engineer and then as CEO of a high-tech company that grew from two to over 500 employees. In retirement, Eric championed the adaptation of Energy Innovation's Energy Policy Simulator to Oregon.
Noelle Studer-Spevak, Leadership Council
Noelle is building a cross-sector public information portal to help Portland neighbors retrofit their homes and blocks for climate change through home electrification, shade trees and transportation. Noelle is a certified electrification coach and holds masters degrees in public administration/urban forestry. Her passion is growing resilient communities with friends, old and new.
Julie Williams, Leadership Council
Julie is a retired teacher of Sustainability and Society. She has a certificate of completion from Climate Masters from U of O and Climate Reality training, and was a participant in the Fulbright/Japan Exchange for teachers of Education for Sustainable Development. She founded the non-profit Seeds for the Sol bringing energy efficiency to over 800 households in the Willamette Valley.
