Who we are

We are a coalition of local organizations and individuals working to address climate change in Bend and the broader region by promoting the shift to clean energy and community electrification. Transitioning to clean energy will improve public health, fuel local economic growth, create good jobs, provide affordable energy to residents, and ensure a livable planet.

We believe we can make far more progress by working together collaboratively with many nonprofits, businesses, civic organizations, faith organizations and local leaders. What we are doing

Our work is built on three pillars: Community outreach, education, and advocacy.

• Community Outreach: It is going to take everyone to power the green energy transition. We are focused on meeting people where they are, building relationships, and aligning our work with other local efforts. We aim to complement, not compete with existing community priorities.
• Education: The energy that we use to power our lives often goes unnoticed. We believe that everyone can be a storyteller who connects the dots between the energy we use and the lives we want to lead.
• Advocacy: The most powerful change happens when we come together with our neighbors. We work to advance local, smart policies that support healthier homes, lower energy bills, and a climate friendly future for all of us.
